Privacy Notice

MixTrackLab operates MixTrackLab and is the data controller for the personal data described here. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Data we collect and why

• Account data — email address, password hash, display name. Used to create and secure your account and to sign you in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Subscription and entitlement data — plan, status, billing period dates, subscription and customer references from our payment provider, and a record of which songs you exported in a period. Used to give you the access you paid for and to count export credits. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Support messages — anything you send us. Used to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and error logs generated when the app runs. Used for security, fraud prevention and fixing faults. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Your audio

Mixing and mastering run inside your browser. Your uploaded stems and rendered mixes stay on your device (including in local browser storage so you can resume a session) and are not uploaded to our servers as part of processing. We do not use your audio to train models.

Who we share data with

• Merchant of Record — Paddle, which sells the subscription, manages payments, invoicing, subscription changes and tax compliance. Paddle collects payment details directly; we never see your card number.
• Service providers — hosting, database, authentication and error-monitoring providers acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
• Authorities — where we are required to by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Account, subscription and export-credit records are kept while your account is open and for up to six years afterwards where needed for tax and accounting. Technical logs are kept for a short operational period. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to the law where you live, you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or provide it in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are in the UK or EEA you can also complain to your supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month. Email support@mixtracklab.com.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database so you can only read your own records, and least-privilege access for administrators.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage only: to keep you signed in and to store your working session so you do not lose a mix on refresh. We do not use advertising cookies. Our payment provider may set cookies necessary to complete checkout. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out and discard local sessions.
